16 Weeks October 23rd 2009

Not too much to write about in the last month or so. We are now at 16 weeks and we are anxiously awaiting our next doctor's appointment when we find out if Baby Manning is a girl or a boy. I am starting to show just a little now. I have already gained 10 pounds but I still feel great. I have been very lucky this first trimester. No morning sickness or any other of those weird symptoms that many women have. I am tired and want to sleep all the time but thats about it. Overall, I am the happiest girl around. We looked at baby furniture and I think we picked out a crib and a dresser that we both love. Now we just have to decide what color we want. Jay really wants white furniture if it is a girl but I am trying to talk him out of it. I think white will look terrible in a few years. We are getting one of those cribs that turns into a toddler bed, then a twin bed and so on and the dresser is really nice so I would like it to stay that way. They have a very dark espresso color that I love. Jay likes it too so I am hoping that color will stick no matter the sex. We have been throwing some names around, I think we have it narrowed down to just 2 or 3 so hopefully it won't take long to decide after we know the sex. We have also pretty much decided on nursery themes so things will start moving forward soon. I can't wait!
